“Import mp4 clip in FCPX-I have installed FCPX in my MacBook Pro retina 15" end 2013 version 10.10.4 YOSEMITE. I shoot my video with my SONY PMW-EX1R, it is an XDCAM EX camcorder. I have some clips MP4 in my desktop but I cannot import them in FCPX: when I click import media and I select the clip I want to import, I don't see the preview of the clip but a green timeline. I download this plug-in: XAVC/XDCAM Plug-in for Apple (PDZK-LT2) but I don't understand how it works and how to use it with FCPX. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?”
“Angelo MP4 video looks blurry in Final Cut pro- I'm trying to edit some videos from my sony nex-5 (mp4) in final cut pro x, but those videos look blurry on fcpx. however in quick time those look amazing. i tried several ways using compressor 4 ( ProRes LT, ProRes 422(HQ), MPEG-4 Video) and the results still the same. I'm using iMac 27" 2.7 Ghz intel Core i5, 4 GB memory.”
“Issues w/ importing mp4 files to final cut pro x-I am trying to edit some lenghty gameplay i have previously recorded. I used eye tv 3 and a hd pvr to capture the video and then converted the videos to mp4. When using imovie everything works fine and importing the mp4 video to edit has no issues. But when i import the same mp4 file to final cut pro x the video is extremely chopping and a green frame pops into the picture on playbacks every few seconds.”
“Importing MP4 into FCPX- My son and I have just downloaded the trial version of FCPX and am running into an import problem. All his videos are recorded in MP4 format on an SD card. When we try to import the clips from the SD card, they appear in FCPX as a black clip with audio only.”
